Series of the CPC Spirits

  Series of the spirits of the Communist Party of China are the spiritual forms created jointly by the Party organizations at all levels, the Party leaders, the People’s Army under the leadership of the Party and the masses. Generations of the Party members, with their lofty ideals, firm pursuit, extra-ordinary courage and indomitable will, have fostered and created the great spirits with distinct marks of the times. The series of the Party’s spirits are the collective embodiment of Marxism in China, the revolutionary sublimation of the great spirit of the Chinese nation under the contemporary conditions, and the continuous development of the spirit of Chinese revolutionary struggle since modern times.

  General Secretary Xi Jinping has profoundly pointed out that ideals and beliefs are the spiritual calcium of communists. Without calcium, the ideals and beliefs are not firm. Once their spirit lacks calcium, they will suffer from rickets. The series of the CPC’s spirits are the reflection of the spiritual world of the communists, the revolutionary spiritual state and realm shown in practising their original aspiration and mission of seeking happiness and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation and people.

  中国共产党的精神谱系是党的各级组织，党的领袖人物，党领导的人民军队和人民群众共同创造的精神形态。一代又一代共产党人以崇高的理想，坚定的追求，超人的勇气，顽强的意志，培育和创造了具有鲜明时代烙印的伟大精神。纵观党的精神谱系，是马克思主义在中国的集体体现，是中华民族伟大精神在当代条件下的革命性升华，是对近代以来中国革命奋斗精神的继续和发展。    

   习近平总书记深刻指出，理想信念就是共产党人精神上的钙，没有钙，理想信念不坚定，精神上就会缺钙，就会得软骨病。中国共产党的精神谱系是共产党人精神世界的反映，是在践行为人民谋幸福，为民族谋复兴的初心使命中表现出来的革命精神状态和精神境界。
