The Red Boat Spirit

     The pioneering spirit of bravery in taking the lead; the firm ideals and indomitable spirit of struggle; the devotion spirit of building the Party for the public and being loyal to the people.   

     In July 1921, the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in Shanghai. Due to the disturbance of police patrol in the “French Concession”, it was forced to transfer to a red boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing (Zhejiang Province) to resume and successfully closed. The opening of a great victory solemnly announced the birth of the Communist Party of China, which was a groundbreaking event in the history of the CPC. Since the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese nation, which suffered a lot from disasters, has a reliable organizer and leader, and the Chinese revolution has a strong leading force. Therefore, the boat has won the name of “red boat” which is forever recorded in history: it was the symbol of the source of Chinese revolution. 

     开天辟地，敢为人先的首创精神。坚定理想，百折不挠的奋斗精神。立党为公，忠诚为民的奉献精神。 

    1921年7月，中国共产党第一次全国代表大会在上海召开，因受到法租界巡捕的滋扰，被迫转移到嘉兴南湖的一艘游船上继续举行，并顺利闭幕。一大的胜利召开，庄严宣告了中国共产党的诞生，这是中国共产党历史上开天辟地的大事件，自从有了中国共产党，灾难深重的中华民族有了可以信赖的组织者和领导者，中国革命有了坚强的领导力量，这艘游船因此获得了一个永载史册的名字：红船，成为中国革命源头的象征。
